Nominees Sought for IEEE Division V Director-Elect

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 8 August 2019 – The IEEE Computer Society is seeking nominees for the position of IEEE Division V delegate-director-elect. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, 20 September 2019, by 12:00 pm EDT.

Each year, IEEE Computer Society members elect a director-elect. The IEEE Division V delegate-director serves a year as director-elect (2021) and two years as director (2022-2023). View the full position description.

All potential nominees must complete and submit a nomination form with a biography, a list of IEEE activities, and a position statement. Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.

The IEEE Computer Society Nominations Committee recommends candidates to the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors (BoG), and the BoG will select the candidate slate at its  26 October 2019 meeting.
